Is it allowed to modify skins? (I don't mean making any changes to the gameplay, R18 mods, post my edits or ANY kind of cheating)
Is it allowed to modify skins? I don't mean making any changes to the gameplay, R18 mods, post my edits or ANY kind of cheating, I just wanted to know if developers care if I modify the texture of my skins.
note: if this is allowed someone could tell me where are the textures of the skins and good tools to extract them and put them back into the game?

This is originally a Eroge series. Even the dev's namesake is a succubus. I don't think they care.

Also just a little R15 request from me but If you mod the characters, do you think you can re-add the original costumes to characters like Yukikaze? Pointy latex nips, lower torso tan and all? She's not the same without it

Even if that possible aren't the dev gonna ban anyone who modify the game files in any sort of way? most online game does that, also doesn't that make the costume shop redundant if people can mod them whenever they please?

Cosmetic mods are always whitelisted in online games since only you can see them

That maybe true but aren't those usually multiplayer games? I really love mods to come to any game but aren't this kind of single player game? I wish in the future people can mod this game cosmetic without getting banned.

The costumes come with bonuses, so modding doesn't bypass the point in buying them.

And online games usually don't scan your PC (because it would be borderline illegal) so they only really verify with the server that you are not cheating. I.e. if you would locally mod the game to give you all costumes for free, they would ban you. But if you locally mod the game to show different graphics, it is essentially the same thing as if you change your color settings of the screen.

Normally the reason companies tell you that you can't modify the costumes, is because they don't want their support bothered with tickets about the game breaking, and then after wasting hours of the supports time realize that "Oh the person was changing the game locally with his own files". If you do mod your game, kindly don't bother support when you get problems.

Textures/skins/models/audio are located

"Action Taimanin\ActionTaimanin_Data\StreamingAssets\AssetBundles\pc" folder.

The one you're probably looking for is "model_char" file. Easy enough to extract the files, edit them and then import them back in using UABE and just use AssetStudio to view them.

Sorry for bringing up a super old post.

With the UABE, do you know how to import modified 3D model mesh back into the "model_char" file? I know how to replace the textures, but I can't seem to be able to import mesh files.

You might wanna discuss this on Discord, where the publisher isn't going to DMCA you if you release something.
