Memory leak when jumping into the water (first level)
Hi, everyone,

when jumping in the water on the first level, if I die and then jump again, the game becomes impossibly slow, and I'm forced to quit to restart. I have checked the memory manager, and suddenly the game starts to take the whole RAM. Has anyone else also run into this?

I haven't encountered this myself, but if I had to guess, I think it might have to do with how Alex's scarf moves in the water. For instance, try switching to Classic Mode, then back to DX mode while swimming, you'll see his scarf go all over the place, causing a little lag as well.

So this bug is simply caused by a scarf? Ouch.

As you said, this is not present in classic mode. As I moved to other stages, I noticed that all water sections make my system slow to a crawl. This is definitely not normal, and it's forcing me to switch to classic mode in underwater sections.

We'd love some more information to investigate this further as we're not sure on the cause, if you would please be able to email techsupport@mergegames.com the tech team would be keen to see if they can find a solution for this with you.

Thanks for flagging and for any help investigating further.
