[Solved, fixed itself] Stuck: Willump won't follow

So I got the tear from that giant stag-like creature and went back to the area where you can choose between going to the castle or the area with the ice creatures. Unfortunately I entered the area with the ice creatures again, but now willump won't follow me any more he is just standing in front of the big door (where the note had to be repaired with the magic ice), but I need willump to jump over a gap. And I can't go back as the big doors only open from one side.

Any chance to remedy this without starting from 0 again ?

I reloaded the game and it made willump jump over the gap but now he's just standing there. I left a poro behind and now i can't reach the area 'cause willump just stays put

Hey! Just a follow up, i managed to unstuck willump, i just had to backtrack a tiny bit and he would soon pick me up so i could proceed the area again

Thanks for your input, but unfortunately it does not help: I tried that (in hopes of leaving the area where I entered it) but no dice. Also tried to restart the game, with the only change that Willump stays put after the big round "portal" instead of in front of it.

Problem solved itselt somewhat: I thought what the heck and give it another go and installed it on my Gpdwin 4. Via Cloudsave started at the beginning of the area and this time Willump did not put Nunu down when I approached the repaired note, so i could pass the gap > hooray !
