Il gioco VORREBBE essere interessante, ma se le meccaniche lasciano a desiderare passa anche la voglia di giocare. A tutto questo consiglio comunque un titolo così per l'idea dietro molto bella e interessante, ma per Dio aggiustate queste robe. Per non parlare dell'intelligenza artificiale, NPC stupidi a livelli atomici: se stai di fronte a loro si bloccano e compare un avviso "Stai bloccando la strada", ma scherzate? Passano trenta secondi e chiamano la polizia, per non parlare che la polizia viene chiamata per qualsiasi dannata cosa anche se non fai niente di particolarmente sospetto. 20€ sono rubati, è un gioco da neanche la metà del suo prezzo, ma l'idea dietro è simpatica.

First of all I want to say it's not a bad game but as someone who has 56 hours in Thief Simulator 1 it just feels like DLC.
If you haven't played Thief Simulator 1 at all or played a little, then you'll definitely get your money's worth

I absolutely loved Thief Sim 1 and have almost 100 hours on that game. I tried to enjoy Thief Sim 2, I really did, but it's impossible. Don't get me wrong, it's got it great aspects. I loved the idea of drones, but they were a little too useful and I believe should've been some sort of late game mechanic instead of having you rob a toaster using a thousand dollar drone. Also, loved the new driving mechanic. The idea of having the pawn shops within the neighborhoods was great too. The idea of having grand heists are great too. However, those heists are pretty lackluster. The bank was great. The museum is damn near impossible, which makes sense. The shooting range is absolutely impossible for such a horrible payout. The resort makes no sense, and neither does the "Devil's Lair"? Like why? Having only 2 neighborhoods was also extremely underwhelming. The whole routine thing was also impossible to follow because everything happened so fast, and it looks like the developer knew that so they added the planning mode, which could've been completely avoided. Lots of bugs with that too, like npcs not going to their places, like ever, or showing up when they weren't supposed to. About the npcs, what is that voice acting? If they were real voice actors, no disrespect to them, but that sounded very AI generated. Also the ending was absolutely horrible. "Hey your debt is clear! But we're gonna kill your friend, sorry." "Eh alright." Bang. Over, roll the credits. Where was the jewelry by the way? That was such a nice thing to steal in the first game, but there were maybe 3 pieces of jewelry in this whole game. Hacking was also impossible sometimes. Crazy Joe was one of the stupidest "haha LOL he's crazy!" gimmicks for cheap chuckles I've ever seen. The cops are broken, just broken. Also almost every single house robbery REQUIRES you to buy the info off the computer, it's impossible to figure it out otherwise.
Good job on dismantling cars though, that's a good improvement.

This doesn't really add a lot to the formula the first game established. This is especially disappointing after the horrible, cash-grab 1980s sequel that came before this. While this is a better game than that, it feels mostly like the first game with a few new tools and more house layouts. It's still poorly balanced, it's still clunky and it has a lot of lazy design.

Worse version of Thief Simulator 1 which I have 60 hours played on. Multiple times residents would, "see a door open" through walls and across the house despite sitting in a chair. I just had the guy in 108 react to me looting the basement key by screaming that he was being invaded and running to where I was despite being silent. The AI is worse than the original and I wish I had refunded this sooner.

To be perfectly blunt this feels like a rush job and more of a side grade than a sequel. Wait for updates. a sale, or just get the original or American Theft instead.

Despite a few notable additions to gameplay, the over all experience is, in a word, crustier than most of PlayWay's endearingly crusty eurojank. Alot could be said for the presentation alone with the way the story mode intro staggers you into existence and the graphical optimization is just flatly bad. I know this is a PlayWay game but it feels like there was hardly any play testing save for making sure tenants ran like clockwork. Hell the issues with windows alone could be an excuse to keep this thing in the oven longer: From not fitting big items through a window (that could actually fit, like a printer or a PC) unless you tilt the camera at obtuse angles, to movement prompts not activating unless you're mid jump to get there, to just being sticky in general. The new mechanics that essentially boil down to having a drone and you can now knock people out are novel, but ultimately near useless with the way the crosshairs work with the drone and the way people just wake up and activate-because call is too generous a word for their response time-the police. The ability to actually use a drone camera to observe and properly mark tenants and, if we really wanna go the home invader route here, atleast tie up tenants for a minuet or two. I will say the Heists are a good idea that needs expanded on immensely.

I want to clarify that I don't hate it, but it does need work to live up as the sequel--especially since Noble Muffins, the devs of the first game, went on to make American Theft 80's and that feels MUCH better than this despite their slight tendency towards making things collectathon side jobs.

Didn't enjoy this game as much as the original, the power ups break the game making it far too easy to achieve your objectives. Many of the new features make the game more engaging such as the blowtorch and baton but it falls short in terms of difficulty.

I really enjoy the game, but there are some incredibly easy to fix issues here. I obtained a key to a house, but I reloaded and now I don't have the key....

It seems that whenever I reload, it takes things away from me, please fix this... after the first game, this should've been easily fixed, everything is cool, except this and how tenants just hear you throwing something out a window but somehow know exactly where you are, which is awful when you sneak through for ages just for them to hear you because of a game issue.

I understand there is only one developer, but if you were able to put the game together, you should be able to find these issues.

Now I do not want to play because although I am good at stealth, they keep finding me due to the games issues, I seriously hope you release a patch tending to this.

Edit: Of course this review will change if these issues are seen to.

Edit2: Honestly really upset, put time into getting as far as the museum heist only to have 3 statues vanish because of this save bug. I don't want to restart from the beginning just to see some statues, but I also cannot refund.

Mechanics are choppy and worse then the 1st game. Much cooler content but it's like the game received a downgrade in it's mechanics. Refunded after around an hour. First game is OK, don't get this one.
