and you dont need more than 1 of the item, in most cases. check requirements.
stash seems inadequate at first, but its ok.
sell all the loot, you dont need to stash it, even to hunt for 3x price daily items. there is plenty of loot and you dont need to bother with that.
since this is a somewhat simulator, you should not expect magical bottomless pockets.
from heists, you dont need to loot anything.
same goes for your truck pack. store just items to hack and blackbays. pawn the rest immediately. it is you secondary pack.
also dont buy too many lockpicks and the like, you need no more than 3.
drones and the like are made magically weightless already, for your convenience.
you never need to carry the car disassembly toolbox, it works from the stash.
you dont need to carry jewelry tools either, i only ever found 2 pieces of jewelry anyway but even then just take it out when you need it.
you can just not carry dog meat at all, it's the heaviest at .5kg, so just quick buy it when you need it.
you also dont always need odds and ends like crowbar/shovel/nightvision/binoculars/baton. baton especially after getting gas or the tranq gun as they are just better.
you only need one drone as well.
i think i was around 6.7 kg of gear at my highest.
I'm with OP, it is nice to have a couple of places to keep different things. maybe just a smaller box in each room for people who like to be organised! It's not a lot to ask.
I think a keying would be nice as well, like in Project Zomboid, a continer especially for keys so they don't clutter the inventory. That's not as important as a few more storages. In the first game you could use the shelves at home to store things.
Keyring would still be nice for convenience, but with an update to the storage UI giving us the ability to have only items classified as loot be visible, and that keys weight zero.... it's not really needed anymore.
