What Are the Devs Mainly Focusing On?

So for this game and the 1st one. What are the devs mainly focusing on? Just saw the 1st game got new DLC but like theres this game too. Have the devs planned out anything? Is it worth getting 2 or should I just play the 1st one or both?

Regular updates march, april, may, june..
Then a DLC for the old game and talks about a new game in development.. Is Thief Simulator 2 development already stopped..?

All I found is a couple of posts from february talking about a new neighbourhood and a 1.3 version being just around the corner - but that was 10 months ago..
