Hiding in houses of 200s.

Many of the 200 houses, I cant find any hiding spots inside the houses is this normal?

I mostly found them upstairs inside the cabinets

I'm fairly certain there's at least one house in 2xx where the only hiding spot is the roof after you climb up the pipe, no wardrobes or under the bed spots, or even a rubbish containers outside
