Google lol, i can tell ya the name of it and what it does but i cannot link anything like that to you as i would probably get in trouble haha, your not even supposed to talk about cheats on steam but this game however has its own cheats built in.

I don't think there's any steam rule against cheats or trainers in offline games.
If you use a trainer in a VAC protected game, then yes, but that's online games where doing that actively hurst other players. In offline games trainers are a-ok.

WeMod is just a trainer collection. It does have an entry for Thief Simulator 2, but it's currently outdated and crashes the game relatively frequently (at least for the one option I'd actually want, maybe infinite jumps works fine).
just google wemod. Or just google for a trainer of the game, most I saw were just either wemod or cheathappens, which uses it's own trainer collection.

I would only go anywhere near wemod, that is if i used one, the other ones are either payed or are bundled with spyware and such, defo do not touch any others.

Most aren't really. Maybe if you get them from a scetchy russian site. But those by, for example, MrAntifun or Fling are great (one of them moved to wemod but still has his standalones around, but don't remember which). Also, cheat engine is clean and you can find sometimes pretty great cheat tables for it, it's just a tiny bit less user friendly if you just want to use tables.
In the end, if you're scared, load it on virustotal.com, have it scanned by 50 or so virus scanners and then you know.

But I think we're derailing here a bit ^^
