Well how the hell would I do that? I see no 'improve security' upgrades floating around, its not under renovations, and unlike my Garage I can't see anything to buy glued to a wall.

It still hasn't been verified almost a year later lol. Anyway I came here looking for answers as a damn 3d printer was stolen from my shed... I didn't even know the value of it or where I even found it. I know I got it on Madison St though

You are right, found out just now thanks to you, after I beat the game. It was weird that there was only audio system, didn't see the arrow on the right.

I didn't know there were more house additions than the music upgrade......The same thing happened for the Extra Skill's menu; I didn't realize there was a 2nd page until I read the tooltip in game for it. The arrow for indicating that there is another page needs to be bigger or at least more eye catching. It makes me wonder if there are other things in this game I've overlooked.
