LOL true. There is no reverse. Thankfully we can turn the ship around on a dime in order to go the other way.

I think you could easily attribute Starship Simulator to Star trek, The Orville, and even Star Wars 9to some degree though it seems more future this galaxy than any other). Firefly was a single star system, so maybe not that. But there are many franchises where this could apply really. True, the external ship design is similar to the Star Trek universe, but doesn't have to be limited to that universe.

i got two of them an was looking at starship evo on steam...is it that good?

The thing about this game is it will be a generic starship with realistic design. You could gather friends and play Star Trek, Babylon 5, Firefly, basically anything you can imagine.

The current dev build design of the ship pushes towards green blooded pointy ear types.

The uniform design with the gold made me think of Star Trek NG, but could be just a coincidence.
