Turns out, you may help remedy a bit of the stutter at least by turning off Vsync in game, and turning it on 'Fast' in the individual game settings tab of your control panel.
And that's my last tip before I may refund and play it flawless on PS5.
I can't figure it out, either, I get 60FPS in a lot of games at 4K, that demand a LOT more than this game. I just asked for a refund and am moving on to play it on PS5 at 4K flawless 60FPS and enjoy myself.
I turned my PC resolution down and the in-game resolution and this seemed to help a lot but my PC should be able to play at 4k!! :/
EDIT: where do you change settings to fast in control panel :)?
The developer needs to fix it and allow the game to preload its shaders, there's nothing else we can do at the moment but wait for a fix.
Click 'Manage 3D settings' in Nvidia's Control panel, then the tab 'Program settings', 'Add' Stray, then scroll down the list it shows you for tweaks & select 'Vertical Sync', click the drop down box and select 'Fast'.
I refunded and am playing flawless 4K 60FPS finally, now on PS5, now when this lowers on PC to a more reasonable unoptimzed price I'll grab it here again.
Thank you!!!! :)
Glad you are enjoying now on PS5, hope they fix it here soon!!
