cant interact with Elliot

making this a new post since the issue in my last post is gone (i dont get stuck/locked in a zoom) but i still approach Elliot's door, and when he opens it, i just cant interact. i see the prompt to press square, but its greyed out and he just opens the door and stands there. if i slip in before he closes it, i still cant talk to him (but i cant get out but scratching the door again). still have no idea what to do, if i am doing something wrong, but all i know is to go to him to get the tracker fixed, and i cannot talk to him :/

bumping again. i restarted the chapter completely and still, the interaction to meet Elliot is greyed out when he opens the door.
