"The UE4-hk_project Game has crashed and will close"

I don't know how to copy and paste the content of the error message but many people in this discussion are having the same issue. I spent $40 on this game that ive been waiting for months to come out and its not working? extremely upsetting tbh, i've tried everything

specs:
OS: Windows 10 pro 64-bit (10.0 build 19044)
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4300 CPU @ 1.90GHz
Memory: 8.2 RAM
Direct X: DirectX 12
GPU: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family

ikr, incredibly frustrating. i've scoured youtube, these discussions, google, reddit, twitter, tiktok, and nothing suggested has worked. my pc is compatible so i have no idea why this is happening

Happened to me after update..

Except mine isn't saying lowlevel etc. it says at the bottom of all the other system stuff

ya having the same issue unfortunately, get the game to run and get this LowLevelFatal Error. Tried fixing it but nothing worked :(

same here ... I tried to fix the likely problems that steam supports tell us to do (remove the antivrius ...) nothing worked

yeah ive tried all that stuff too and no luck :/

copy the dxgi.dll to win64 worked for me

Go to https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases and grab a copy. (I used 1.10.1 as i had that one already downloaded)
Unpack the .tar.gz with 7-zip or whatever, copy the dxgi.dll (and /or d3d11.dll) from x64 folder to <steamgamefolder>\common\Stray\Hk_project\Binaries\Win64\
(for fun, you could try with the ones in x32 too, no idea of it works)

I cannot find the dxgi.dll file when I download the from that link? This is the first game I have ever had to do file fixing stuff on so I am fairly confused. Do I need to install this dxvk application or something?

Like I cannot find a single .dll file in what I downloaded from github which was just the zip file in the 1.10.2 release, which I then unzipped.
