Anyone getting motion sickness while playing it?
I've been playing for an hour and i already feel like vomiting...turning off motion blur doesn't really help..

Guys all this motion sickness is because of poorly applied TAA to this game which creates ghosting and glitched atrifacts. Use the TAA fix method described here:

Was feeling quite ill by the time I got to the room before B12. Had to stop for now.

Wider FOV or a way to dampen the camera so it didn't swing around so fast would be nice.

There is no map or mini map so lots of swinging the camera around to view where to jump to or to choose a direction to explore. So I got a little bit sick as well. I turned down the mouse sensitivity helped a little.

I tried turn down and also up everything, full screen and windowed, Vsync on and off. Every thing I can switch around, when I get to the alley way, I get sick. In the room (beginning where B-12 is ) I am fine.
Yes actually, first time experience motion sickness and nausea when playing a game

Exactly. It's so narrow that it certain places I actually felt claustrophobic.

I don't but maybe you should move the screen further away from you.

Yeah! Who needs proper FOV setting when you can just move away from screen?! Stop having brutal expectations from devs, you lazy ass! /s

After about an hour, I feel the motion sickness mildly; had to eventually stop the game.

Yep. The FOV is ABSURDLY claustrophobic -- at least in my case, sitting fairly close to a 55 inch TV. I can only play for about an hour without getting uncomfortably nauseous.

REALLY hope they (or more likely, a modder) adds an FOV slider FAST. I really want to play this game :(

Have you ever thought that you sitting too close to a 55 inch TV might be your fault and to stop doing it?

Only half an hour and I'm already vomiting.
I love cats and want to play this game so much but I don't think I can... :(

No but I keep scratching my furniture at home now.

Only mildly when watching someone else play on a big screen. Try playing windowed if it gets too bad.

That too. Narrow FoV and no map means the game involves a lot of panning the camera around, scanning the environment in narrow slices. What makes it especially bad is the game has a fair amount of verticality, so there's a lot of scanning the ceiling, which is where the third-person camera tends to fail due to collision with the ground.

I kind of wish that third-person video games would take the Oni approach. There, the camera always maintains a fixed distance from the protagonist. If you jam it into a wall, it clips through the wall and simply shows it as transparent. Yes, this technically means you can see outside the map, but it's a small price to pay for a convenient camera.

*edit*
Could also be framerate. I'm running on a GTX 1080 and the game managed to keep 120 FPS @ 1080p, but it does drop significantly (below 80) when viewing larger areas. I can imagine some hardware might struggle to maintain consistent framerate, and that REALLY does mess with your proprioception.

Yes, I also had motion sickness. First time since Wolfenstein 3D.
I think it's because the camera is very close to the ground. My brain doesn't like that for some reason.

If you guys don't like the in-game FoV value, just use Unreal Engine Unlocker to increase it.
