when I wake up I fall out of the world and Ive tried quiting and restarting the game
Thank you so, so much Sings in Tune! I tried Dead End so many times and couldn't find a true workaround online - then I saw your WeMod comment. I hadn't heard of it - I've only modded huge games that I know I'll sink hundreds of hours into. This saved me and now I can enjoy the story again.
I have a bug in the chapter dead end, namely that I can't use my mouse to run at the start of the chapter, so I have to interact with w, a, s, d and on the pc it's almost impossible, what can I do?
Ps. Borrow a mouse or something xD
Running Stray on a MS Sruface Pro 9. Yes, the Graphics Card does not meet the requirements.
I reduced most of the graphics settings and the game starts to run fine.
Only when I enter the section where the cat has to drop a paint bucket through the window, I always get the following error:
LowLevelFatalError [File: Unknown] [Line: 198]
Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being list. (Error: 0x887A0020 - 'INTERNAL_ERROR')
it seems everything (Game, OS, Gaphics Card) is up to date.
Funny thing is that on my old MS Surface Pro 6, I didn't experience this problem.
PS: I tried to play with a lower resolution with the result that I get this error even sooner.
BTW: thanx for this great game - even if I can't play it, I love the idea and athmosphere!

Have you found a solution to this as I get the same issue, altho not at this point.
Geez, someone not having literally 3 bucks for a mouse (Yes, you can get a cabled for around 3 and a wireless for about 6. Don't ask HOW WELL, they are working, though. But you can game on them. [They are my "sh*t_my_mouse_just_died_and_I_need_an_replacement_now" backup mice])
Mouse look does not work in Dead End. It is not the fault of the mouse, it is a problem in the game. If you are playing with keyboard and mouse and you can navigate with your mouse in Dead End - rather than having to use a, s, w and d on keyboard to go left, right, etc. - that is something I would be interested in knowing. Many, many people have reported this problem, we all assume that no one's mouse works properly in Dead End.
The only way I know to overcome this is to use a trainer to mod the game. I downloaded WeMod and it allows me to get through Dead end using the keyboard. My cat is invisible to zurks.
PS: Robots are also invisible.
