Only 5 Hours Long Campaign

Is it really worth it to spend 30 Dollars on a 5 hour long game

I read in a review that it's around 10 hours or so, so it probably varies a bit depending on how much you explore.

it depends on if its fun to you i paid 60 bucks for bio mutant and played it for 54 hours and feel like i got ripped off because it wasnt that fun. i bought metal gear rising when i got my steam deck and beat it in 4 hours and had a blast and feel like it was money well spent. i feel like its all about how much fun the game is i bet trying to get everything in stray will take you probably 20 hours maybe 25.

That's definitely one metric you SHOULD use to judge a game and their price. Even the best game in the world is not worth it if it's too short. In fact i'd go as far to say a game could never be the best if it's too short. 24 quid is too much for a 4 hour game.

That being said a game is not automatically good if it's long

So a movie in theaters is about $15 here these days without any snacks. Thats 2-3 hours. this is $30ish, so two movies' cost, for 5 hours minimum game play. That 5 hours is likely NOT the average experience, but someone who makes a point of doing things as fast as possible. Thats still comprable to spending the same amount of time and money spend watching 2 movies. Or one movie with snacks. Perspective. Not all games need to take eons to complete.

Most modern AAA games have a 5 hour long story.... Consider its price 25 on release atm, that is not that bad.

5 hours could easily have been a power run! Everyone else's mileage may vary from 5 to 10 hours easily. It depends on how you play the game!

Pokemon is a 60$ game that can be beaten fast, same with mario and etc. All of these games are like 5 hours long depending on the player. This is a normal ammount , as many 60$ nintndo games are only 5 hours. The game tho itself is much longer, thats end credits if u rush through the game without taking your time to explore and stuff, if you explore, do quests, etc, it is alot longer, just like any game

Honestly, I'm very happy if it's just 5 hours. I prefer 5 dense, high quality hours very much over a more drawn out experience.
