Data miners did find an achivement that requires you to complete the game in 2 hours.

Still, I honestly knew that and I bought anyway.

Annapurna related games tend to be on the shorter side of playtime.
Not sure how that's suddenly a surprise this time.

Playtime does not equal quality anyway.

The average price of a movie ticket is about $10 but is $15 if you live in a city. So 4+ hours of entertainment for under $30 seems fair when it's a game you really enjoy, you also own it so can play over and over unlike having to pay every time for a movie.

I tend to play games slower than the average so I'm sure I'll get more than 4hrs.

I think its more of a letdown it isnt a more open world sandbox style cat game. I think alot of people were looking forward to that

Well, the speedrun achievement, that got leaked, says "complete the game under two hours" so there is that. 100% it is probably around 7-8 hours.

same .. I always check the average game time on a game and it takes me always 3-4-5 more hours .. I like to discover the environment and not try to speed run the game :)
