Stray

First game I completed. Any similar games I can try?
I'm a complete newbie in gaming, and not quite used to intense shootings. The sentinel and zurks parts were challenging, but I completed the whole thing in 13 hours.... I loved the puzzles, graphics, story. Any similar games that I can try?

The first that come to mind for me are Portal and Portal 2,

This one is beautiful, peaceful, and similar to Stray in that there are no human characters :lunar2019smilingpig:

Mainly exploring an island, doing good deeds for original characters, some fairly easy puzzle-solving and 'painting' pictures (by taking snapshots, really) are the main elements. There are no 'stress' elements.

Stray was one of the best game experiences I'd had in years as well :steamthumbsup:

All the previous game are great recommendations, let me add some:

Wandersong is a sidescroller about dealing with the apocalipse without fighting anyone;
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons play quite like Stray, only that you have to control two characters at once;
A Short Hike is an adventure exploration game, as the name implies, short but you won't regret it.

Go check them out on the Steam Store and tells us which one you like.

Spirit of the North, Okami, and Abzu, might be good choices.

If you like cute animal characters (and have no arachnophobia), you may like Webbed

Not a similar game at all, but PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate is the game that hooked my girlfriend and converted her to play videogames. And she was a complete newcomer. It's a very good game, I played it a lot too.

One of the best tower defenses I have ever played. You place towers on the monsters' path to defend a little village. It's very addictive and well done, and the difficulty is progressive.

Otherwise, as you enjoyed Stray, you could try more story-focused games and look if any of these interests you :

The Mass Effect trilogy is also a good bet. You can chose different difficulties, and the easier one is VERY easy even if you're not into shooting.

If you're interested in this one, wait for a sale ; it's dirt cheap when on sale.

You may also like "Lost Ember" where you are an animal too. You will also "slip" into the form of other animals to use their skills. Once you were a human but now your soul is traped in the body of a wolf. You will learn what happened along the way.
Its a really relaxing game, kind of "boring" like Stray .. :D

If you have a VR headset, highly recommend this one and it's sequel "Moss: Book 2". It's very fun to play, lots of puzzles, the main character is a cute mouse who uses sign language, and has a gut-wrenching yet beautiful ending just like Stray! :emotionalcat:

(I may be biased with this since is my favorite game in VR and one of my favorite games ever)

I'll throw in another recommendation for Mass Effect, and one for Undertale. It's a classic for a reason. The art style is very different, but if you enjoyed the wandering around, exploring, and talking to people aspects Undertale is a great choice.
