is there a fix for falling through the map?

im in seamus's apartment knocking down his pictures and when they fall i get yeeted into the abyss. as i can't progress after entering the void i am currently softlocked. is there something i can do to fix it or naw?

There was a similar bug on some other games like Dead Space...

i played this game when it first came out. It always had that problem and it was reported a long time ago. I think it was the devs that recommended to keep the caps at 60.
