What would you call the aesthetic of the world?
I've always found the look in the world of Stray to hit that spot just right for me. Somewhere between cyberpunk and a back alley in the 1980's somewhere in Southeast Asia. So, what do we call this look, this aesthetic?

The game is based off of Kowloon CIty. That's a fun rabbit hole to dive down- look it up on Youtube. They nailed the aestetic, and yes it's also very cyber punk. I love it.

I know it's not exactly that, but solarpunk is kinda close.

Praised be William Gibson, the father of cyberpunk. I highly recommend reading his stories and novels. The board game "Cyberpunk 2020" that the computer game "Cyberpunk 2077" is based on has its roots in Gibson's narrations. Really good stuff.
