DLC? SPOILERS

I beat Stray today, i loved the game. it Truly was a magical experience, the ending really got me. So much character, immersion, the story isnt the most original, but its not recycled by any means.

My only gripe is that the end felt "unfinished". You did it! You made it, you made it outside and brought the robots you met along the way with you. Cookie (My name for the cat), did what she set out to do. But.... why couldnt we find our family? I hope this will be a DLC in the future.
Id pay for it for sure!

Look back at the beginning, and look where the cats were. You're probably no more than 30 yards from where the game began. I think it won't be hard to find the family.

Yeah but i want the closure. Im all for ambiguous ending, but Stray doesnt seem like its that kind of game. Its been quite deliberate in its storytelling.

Yeah...when I saw that little flicker of data on the screen as the cat walked off. I thought maybe the little droid would return at the very least. It leaves it open to interpretation...maaaaaaybe the scientist found another body....maaaaaaaaybe he finds the cat again. I hope they do add more to the ending (dlc), or at least an alternate ending maybe. I'm with you, I'd love closure instead of "closure".
