There are only two levels in the game where ray tracing would matter.
I work in the games industry and know exactly how ray tracing works. Indirect Bounce Lighting is not in any shape or form ray tracing and the fact you can't tell the difference speaks volumes.
[/script/engine.renderersettings]
r.RayTracing=True
[/script/windowstargetplatform.windowstargetsettings]
DefaultGraphicsRHI=DefaultGraphicsRHI_DX12
And a level doesnt decide if raytracing would matter. Thats personal taste.
To me raytracing in games will never matter, since we got so good at immitating it that we dont need raytracing. Sure it may look more realistic, but if I want realism I turn off my PC lol.
Besides, which games did you develop and what part did you take in them?
I could say Im in the game devedloping scene because I have my credits in 3 games and helped out with gamedesign and testing.
