Please add skip the chase bit option after several attempts
I hate chases. I hate Zurks.

Also zigzag a lot so their jumps miss.
This part is fine with keyboard: only reason I used to have issues with it (died 20 times in a row) was the keybind for shaking bugs off wasn't doing anything. Once I changed it to a mouse button, didn't even need to avoid enemies anymore, just ran straight forward.

two thoughts: 1) tight S pattern run; 2) holding the jump button is often more responsive than waiting until the icon shows up to press the button

Isn't any different for this particular part. I got the achievement with keyboard

My son did escape the chase with KB too, at the second try.

Me too. I just want a relaxing cat exploration game. The Zurks ruin it for me.

Same as me. If not these little $%^&ers the game would be such a great meditative experience.

I agree with you

I'd prefer to add checkpoints after every new entry in the inventory... I had to reload a game couple of times and I needed to start over a music sheets search every time ouch

So much that. Zurks are really killing my enjoyment; the puzzle platform and exploration as a cat parts are great. Having to run, dodge, and figure out a path at the same time is just...♥♥♥♥, frankly.

And I fully accept other people enjoy those elements and want them, but giving us the option to skip them or at least find alternate routes that avoid the the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying little ♥♥♥♥♥ would be great.

yeah. not a fan of the chases. Its like in other games of this type they feel a bit tucked on.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Yeah, things did quickly turn into a horror game during some moments. Fortunately it's not that many. It was unexpected but at least it doesn't become the whole game.

I would have bought this game already if it wasn't for the chases/zurks. I've had Stray on my wishlist since I first heard about it. But am now very much in doubt, after reading people's experiences with the zurks/chasing/dying (and looking a little bit at YTs (not too much, in case I do buy it and I don't want to ruin figuring things out for myself).
I'm slow, and only on KB+M, quite simple gear. And get stressed out if having to press too many things at once at the same time as dodging and running and figuring out a path.

Also, I'm a total wuss and peaceloving and don't like killing or dying. So very much wish these parts of the game were skippable. Or a story-mode option.

(I appreciate that other people enjoy the chase, no problems with that. But we're not all the same...)

[Edit: just fixed a glaring typo]
