Considering MTX, well im not in to MTX i never use them, but with cat customisations they could milk me dry
At this point its a nice game, i enjoyed every minute of playing and i dont want it to be over for all time ;)
[.spoiler] Spoiler [/spoiler] => without the . in the beginning.
Hi I'm a spoiler
While that's not my interpretation of it, I laughed at this, because during the scene it shows as they watch you fall, I did feel like it had some sort of "pathetic" vibe given off by the cats with the way they watch you.

In reality I just took it as them watching to see what happens, and once you fall, I presume they probably wrote the cat off as a lost cause (either dead or not).
This is anthropomorphism. Only humans can laugh upon the death on someone.
In my opinion, they did not know that the pipe was weak, they just gone forward, and ou protagonist missed.
When the cat is down after the falling, we can hear some "meows" from the other cats, and i think they're calling him
Its called moss.
