what are you doing using a mac and wanting to game?

is Wine a thing on mac? you can use that to run Stray. otherwise just get a normal computer.

Unfortunately, windows dominates the pc game market and it just doesn't make financial sense for most companies to develop mac/linux versions of their games. Heck, I've seen some fairly large multiplayer games drop mac support because it just costs them too much to support and update for it. Maybe Stray will one day get mac support, but I doubt it. If you don't have/want a windows machine I recommend you refund the game. If you have a PS (I think it's only out on PC and PS) you could buy it there.

Can you run iOS apps on your Windows PC?

I can run the majority of them on my MacBook Pro M1 in Full Screen, just like a regular application.

My gaming PC is great for gaming, but when it comes to serious computer work, the Mac OS is lightyears ahead of Windows. I own both, so spare me your Fanboy BS about a system you have never used and have never owned.

I'm curious what "serious computer work" you think a windows PC can't do these days? Everything that used to be Mac exclusive 20+ years ago is now cross platform and works just fine in both...

If you have both Systems then you have NOTHING to say in this Topic beside: Macs are NOT for Gaming.

Sorry, OP. Topics like this invite a lot of infighting on Steam. Just ignore them.

Do you know if the computer you have uses an Intel or M1/M2 processor? If it's an Intel, you can use bootcamp to run Windows and play Stray. Note that you'll still need to meet the other minimum requirements though.

If it's a newer model with an M1/M2 chip, you won't be able to bootcamp into Windows, and will need to wait and see if the developers ever port the game to Mac.

See these links for suggestions:

Needs Steam running on another computer on same network but allows play across multiple Apple devices including Apple TV:

Install Linux on your mac. Then play games.

Just finished Stray on my iMac 2020 with Bootcamp (aka Wintendo) and a PS5 controller. Ignore the regular trolls here.

I didn't even bother mentioning that a Mac can run Windows if the user so chooses. This has been a feature for decades now.

Serious work = Music Production, Video Editing, Photo Editing and pretty much anything where performance and stability is essential. Mac is still the #1 choice for creative professionals worldwide. Always has been, and always will be.

It is also the OS of choice for science professionals. Next time there is a NASA or JPL press conference or photos of a roundtable meeting, have a glance around the table and count how many MacBook Pros there are compared to Windows laptops. Its like 10 to 1.

PC Fanboyism is tiring to say the least. Computers are TOOLS. I use the best one for the job at hand. End of story.

It is well known that Windows Fanboys are hands down THE DUMBEST segment of the Windows community, as well as the Gaming Community. What they know about this topic wouldn't fill a Thimble.
