what is the issue?
Next you're gonna be mad that the game doesn't support Windows XP.
Anyway, minimum req. is this card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti, a card that doesn't even fully support the Minimum required DX12.
dx12 was a massive cleanup and runs measurably better than dx11 in any game that supports it. Your comments are ill informed and mistaken.
And it obviously doesn't need to support the full dx12, it obviously runs with whatever version of dx12 the 650ti can handle. You make no sense and appear to just be stuck in the past for no valid reason.
You're angry that a game can run on a 10 year old graphics card? I'm sorry, but if you can't even get a 650ti from 2012 or newer, go back to playing browser games.
(and XP was/is the best OS i'd still use it if new games would run on it)
DX12 enables developers to add amazing graphics effects to Microsoft Windows-based PC games. GeForce graphics cards deliver advanced DX12 features such as ray tracing and variable rate shading, bringing games to life with ultra-realistic visual effects and faster frame rates.
DirectX 12 was announced by Microsoft at GDC on March 20, 2014, and was officially launched alongside Windows 10 on July 29, 2015.
Dude, use at least Linux instead of XP. At this point you wouldn't regret it.
Use DXVK then. Yes, you can use it in Windows. Yeah, probably you still need a new card, but you don't have to use DirectX 12 anymore. Thanks Valve.
I had a GT 440 until 2019, trust me I understand how you guys feel, but there is a time you just need to upgrade your rig. Be happy that Developer don't depend that much on old technology anymore.
emphasis on i WOULD still use XP
(i already have win10 muhahahaha, no worries)
Pfffffffffftttt DX10 was garbage. It was a skin job for DX9c
