I really hope that office businesses expand with more features in the future. I would love to see each office type provide some kind of benefit. for example, web development could give a passive boost to marketing at all businesses and (if law suits are added to the game) the lawyers could give you an edge in being sued or filling your own suits.
when crime and theft is added it would be cool if we could set up a security firm and that could reduce crime rates in the surrounding district.
perhaps a cleaning service could reduce the rate at which your stores get dirty, or just make it so you don't have to hire cleaners at individual stores, they all just work for the cleaning service now.
perhaps a financial services office that reduces or prevents the banks from charging that insane negative interest penalty.
In addition to these good ideas, I'd like to see the web and law offices actually require some sort of upkeep other than salary, like in the form of office supplies. Hell, we already have an office supplies store that doesn't really do anything unique other than sell the big table.
