Multiplayer or Co-op in the future?

Hey Devs, just wanted to ask are you planning on adding a co-op mode in the future or if it's something you might of thought about adding?

I can see it being quite hard to implement with the time feature in the game, but with having it's own mode i think it can be done as other games like Project Zomboid having a time feature too with multiplayer. I think for player count it should just be 2-Player Co-op to make it simple as having more players would make it too chaotic.

The way it could work is that multiplayer works as it's own shared save or shared world similar to Palworld or Project Zomboid and each player can join when ever, if player 1 is in the game the game progresses or if player 2 is in the game the game progresses - the game only progresses when any player is in the world.

Co-op or multiplayer could allow two players to help each other start businesses or venture off in their own direction, time can be skipped together with a time prompt that shows on the screen to fast forward, this mode is also separate to the story mode too.

Hi there,

Not for Big Ambitions, no. It's definitely possible, but it takes a ton of time rewriting existing code. Time that would be taken away from working on more content and improving the end-game.

For this version, we focus on making the singleplayer experience great. For our next release/game/sequel, multiplayer will definitely be included :)

I think Im speaking on behalf of atleast 50% of the community. We would rather see you add multiplayer to this beloved game, than adding it for a game we dont will pop off as much as Big Ambitions did.

Please take this comment, and the hundreds if not thousands of requests about add multiplayer into consideration.

@jhovgaard i have an idea that would make it more worth you time
make an DLC 10-15$ it might seem like an Crazy Idea but Just Think About it
The Amount of People That Want Multi i Think ya'll would make a killing if you did this
and 10-15$ might be a little over The Budget for some people but if people are Wanting this i believe 75% of people playing this game would pay it

All these people requesting multiplayer in games that are primarily single player all seem to share the same kind of hivemind mentality... do they not realise that adding multiplayer to a game like BA that has been designed as a single player game is an ENORMOUS task?

Like, I know nothing about coding. But even I can appreciate that to implement multiplayer is akin to basically starting from scratch coding wise. They seem to think adding multiplayer is a simple addition, rather than having to almost completely rewrite the entire game?

I guess some of you have friends .. my computer is my friend, so please make single player the best it can be. If I wanted a multiplayer co-op game, then that is what I would have bought, not this single player game.

Since I did buy this single player game, i would not want any time spent or bugs introduced to turn it into a multiplayer game .. that is just one opinion.
