Uncle Fred's quest stuck ?

Im stuck at 'Start selling Expensive Gifts at your gift store' and 'Generate a total profit of $2,500 in one day'.

I have put expensive gifts in my gift store as well as making 17kish per day, both are checked green but the quest is not advancing.

Do I have to get 2,5k just from the gift shop alone ? As of now it sits at just 1k/day.

edit : saving and loading the game fixed it.

I don't remember the specific objectives but I know I never got caught on these. A single store making 2.5k in a day is trivially easy. I consider a store that weak to be a failure. I suspect you are doing something woefully wrong and don't realize it. Need more info to help you but I suspect you can help yourself by pressing F1 in game.

Yea I just made that store just to get the checklist for the expensive gift thing.
Previously I just change my electronic store to gift shop, get the checklist and then return it to electronic store.

Before I sleep last night that store is making 4k a day and overall I get 80k per day but still not completed the quest.

Mind you the original gift shop that I opened following his quest was closed and un-rented because I learned about the traffic thing. The electronics shop was the second shop I opened but then I learned he wasn't done with the whole gift shop thing for example, he wants me to paint the store.

So I found a workaround to change the electronic shop to be a gift shop whenever he wants me to do something and then revert it back to electronic shop. I can't figure why opening a new gift shop for this specific quest doesnt work, heck it had the green-checklist and everything !

Because it's asking you to alter your existing store!

In 0.9, the tutorial will be much less strict, through, and will offer more freedom!

So, update :
Just reloading a save fixed it.

Such a simple fix ! Completely slipped my mind ! Dahahah.

So I played for 11hrs on Sunday without stopping and in extend ; without saving & loading. What a game.
