How to set up a gym?

What is the trick with the gym? The gym has a high demand in my game and I set up a big variety of machines, still I barely make any money... do I have to specify on a few machines?

My advice, Don't, they don't make much compared to other stuff. As for how, you just need a bunch if equipment in the store to match capacity. Each peice is 2 customers/hr so 15 peices would be 30/hr etc. Planning board and trainers. Equipment is at Essential in LM. Have fun.

Absolutely trash for money making. Only get one if you want somewhere that isn't your home to work out, and even then I'd only go with a small one. I fell for it, too, and quickly swapped it to a giant jewelry store. Gyms are a giant waste of money.
