Experimental Branch: Am I just a complete idiot or are display tables broken?

I am quite familiar with me being very, very stupid. So I'm assuming first that I am screwing something up rather than the game, but I changed to the experimental branch tonight, started a new game, started an electronics store, bought some display tables, and they can't have anything put on them. Double-checked the F1 information, said phones went on Display Table (Product) and that I should find a Display Table (Product) at the one appliance store (AJ Pederson & Son) and I could not find any. I found Display Table but no Display Table (Product) available, talked to the manager and the same thing. And I couldn't put products on Display Tables. (One weird side-note. The image for the Display Table in the Add Item menu of talking to the manager is of just a cardboard box unlike all of the other products in the store which show an image of the product.)

I assumed I screwed up, but I looked to see if anyone else was having the same problem, didn't see it in the discussion threads here yet, didn't see anything about it on the game's subreddit. Since no one else is complaining about it, I'm assuming this isn't a major issue everyone is having. So I started a custom save, did something similar, took all the classes to make sure that wasn't the problem, still couldn't put anything on the Display Tables. I am triple-checking as I'm writing this, have the game open, have the F1 Help System open, looking at the Display Tables I have in my shop. When I bring phones, headphones, earbuds, or smartwatches over to them, nothing happens. Click on them, popup comes up that says Display Table with left and right arrows around a dropdown menu, dropdown menu's only option is Undefined.

Knew I'd missed something in troubleshooting, so I changed the store type just to check, bought some other product display stuff (Rounded Shelves) and Rounded Shelves show the red "Missing Product" warning which the Display Tables do not, they have a "Not under security," warning which the Display Tables do not, and I can define what product should be on them unlike the Display Tables. So, it's not everything that isn't working for me, it is specifically the Display Table or the lack of a Display Table (Product). But, one more test, have an old 0.7 save that had active Display Table (Product) stores, so now I'm going to open that and see if it's working. Old tables are definitely working, still have the name Display Table (Product) but AJ Pederson & Son do not appear to sell them anymore. Now I check the other apliance stores before posting this. Are any of them selling Display Table (Product)? Not as far as I can find.

So. How big of an idiot am I? What have I done wrong or am missing? Even if it's in the 0.8 announcement saying this would be broken or if there's something simple I've forgotten to do, I'm sure I've missed something. Otherwise everyone else playing experimental would be complaining about Display Tables going bust in new games. What am I screwing up?

Hello - not an idiot! The tables themselves are fine, but AJ Pederson is selling the wrong table. It is fixed in the upcoming first patch, though!!

I came onto the forums looking for this issue with one step worse. Before switching to the beta, I had my gift shop selling smartwatches. So I was 100% sure I remembered buying the table (which still works) from AJ Petersons and couldn't figure out what I was possibly doing wrong. Just spent the last half hour (and about a grand in cab rides since my new store is so far away) going back and forth trying to figure out what I was doing wrong.

Will the patch upgrade the tables I have sitting in storage now to the right ones? As far as I can tell, they're useless at the moment.

A workaround is....

Use a blueprint that was built for an electric store.
The tables will be there...
Just switch them to another store if you want to or redecorate.

Not the best way to handle this ... but it works ... we get the tables that we need :)

Was just about to report this error as I was starting a new playthrough and was projecting costs for products in demand, thanks for saving me the trouble!

I can't actually figure out how to use a blueprint. I have the right store type and size, I have the right Interior Designer, I have what I want saved as a blueprint, but it offers me four options that are random colors (which isn't what I saved the blueprint as) and not the blueprint I've saved.

Hello! When that happens, you don't have the right blueprints size for your business' building type. Did you download the blueprint in game? Or did you just subscribe in the workshop?
