Auto-Fill All ignores employees' demands
Is it intentional that the Auto-Fill All option completely ignores the demands of my employees?

I used this feature to organize the work-schedule for my biz but it didn't take into account the individual employees' demands. It just randomly assigned them to the workstations.

Now, many demands are unfulfilled and I must manually check and re-assing all my 50 programmers again to make sure everyone gets what they want (computer monitor, mouse pad, etc.)

Am I missing something here? Or is this feature indeed completely worthless?

Wait. So you think it assigns them to workstations with their specified devices? No, it doesn't work like that... at all.. That would require a painful amount of coding I would imagine, It assigns by time not by demands, as far as I know anyway.

It does not take into account demands. It's a partially working system but in .8 it should be updated to work with demands and better hour scheduling. Remember this is still EARLY RELEASE so thing might need to be fixed or tweaked to be working as intended.
if you prefer I have a blueprint out there that covers any demand for a 50 customer office. To me it's easier just to provide all possible demands so no need to fuss with moving around employees.

Thanks for the quick reply guys!

I actually thought that this auto-fill feature would consider the employees demands, and that I'm maybe doing something wrong.

I mean, who would ever want to use this feature if it doesn't? But thanks for correcting me on this. It's at least good to know that it's not a bug but working as intended.

So, back to manually managing the schedules then.

@Sarsgamer: thanks for the link, but I prefer to set-up my bizzes myself. That's part of the fun, isn't it ;)

Just a note - EA 0.8 should be brining a whole new scheduler! We're still working on the auto-fill, so I can't speak to that yet, but the plan is for improvements, as the current version is quite weak as you noted!

After you setup 20+ it starts to get tedious haha (especially the large locations). It is nice to setup your own cause the blueprints may not always have what you want or from an older version.. like most liquor store blueprints I saw aren't selling cigarettes. So always have to check them after installation to see if they are working correctly and selling what you're expecting.

Also I don't get to creative on beauty building so I do like that people put in the work to decorate their blueprints so I don't have to haha.
