Calling in sick...????
OK, I've a few hours in the game (140+) and I've NEVER seen this.

Do employees have a "sickly" hidden attribute to them?????????

Doing a new game. I have one 15 customer store. I have 5 employees (training them mostly).

AT LEAST 5 days of the week, one of the employees is calling in sick.
One day, had 2 call in sick
This has gone on since I hired them. (day 28 now).

Started out with 7 employees after my first hiring campaign.
The first week I hired them, starting the VERY NEXT DAY, one person called in sick "2 days in a row", I fired them.
The next day, someone else called in sick. I fired them. Hoping that was the end of that.

They are ALL continuing to call in sick!!!!! At LEAST 5 days of the week.

What's wrong? Most play throughs go to day 100+ before even 1 person ever calls in sick??? Not all, but most.

Is something wrong with my store? Does it have toxic waste in it?

I'm about ready to FIRE the whole crew and start over!!!!!!!!

The answer is NOT hire some HR managers to resolve. Something is bad wrong. Played the game too much for that.

If you work them too many hours, they have a higher chance of getting sick, but if it's happening during training or for two days in a row, that sounds very odd. You can hit F2 and submit a bug report and I can take a look at it if you'd like!

Well, there is an "exploit" on the "work them too many hours" part that, I've kind of taken advantage of so early on (until I get more employees).

Maybe there's something going on behind the scenes I'm not seeing regarding that, that is triggering the sickness.

And yes, I have already submitted that exploit via F2. I don't delve into exploits on the forums. That's just all kinds of wrong. LOL

Thanks. I'll stop sloiting and see if that was the cause.

I can confirm it was from working them too many hours.
So basically, the exploit I found was really a BUG.
I could work someone all day, every day as long as I had the store CLOSED on all other days other than the current day.
This always kept everything GREEN.

I'll submit another bug report with a lot more detail on how that issue works.

Thanks, David.

Oh definitely - if you're adjusting their schedule along and they are working more than 14 hours in the day, that is very likely why they are getting sick so much!

No need for a bug report on the satisfaction/scheduling exploit - it is already known and being fixed, but thank you!
