Is there really no money cheat of something of the like?
I've been watching this game for months and I finally decided to buy it. But I wanted to start the game with as much money as I have in real life, so I checked for a money cheat. Well, it's technically not a cheat since I'm role playing to have that much money and I was only going to use it once.

But... Unless I'm very much mistaken, there is no such thing? Note, I'm referring to the story / campaign and not sandbox.

With the sandbox, you can give yourself as much money as you want, I believe. But I wanted to do the story campaign and not the sandbox. So, surely it's possible to give me a bit of a boost?

I have a lifetime subscription on cheat happens back when it was still affordably cheap and even that trainer doesn't have a money cheat. I mean, seriously, what the heck? Isn't a money cheat one of the first things a game like this should have? Just to mess around with?

And again, I want to do the story campaign, not a sandbox, since the former is more guided.

Am I missing something here?

you can probably use cheat engine, but you might have to dig into the guts of a save file to find the exact amount you have, I don't see it anywhere in the menus anyways, at which point you can probably just change it there.

A lot of purchases have a decimal amount, so your balance at the top is just a rounded number.

Someone more versed in this game, game files, and/or cheat engine could probably give a more direct answer, but that's probably the general direction to go in.

I know you said you want to do this in the campaign mode, but just out of curiosity, why?

The first part of the game makes you take loans and Fred throws money and other freebies at you a couple times which will offset the simulation you're doing basically rendering it moot - why not just set the sandbox to your exact age and account balance? (Incidentally, I like this idea.)

The purpose of the game is to start with nothing except a few handouts, and then to become filthy rich.

But watch out, here comes Kingdark: "Hey, in this game I'm supposed to make a billion dollars. Where's the cheat so I can give myself a billion dollars?"

Get a refund, man. Because this game is obviously not for you.

And you clearly didn't read what I said. I wanted to start the game with the money I had prior to buying my home. It's not like I want to give myself enough money to make the game pointless. Just something extra. As for the question as why I want to do the campaign.. Because I'm new and I like directions until I know what I'm doing.

You can use Plitch, but i think you need to be premium member for the most options

Who cares how he wants to play the game? It isnt competitive multiplayer, so it wouldnt affect anyones enjoyment but their own. OP play the game how you want but id suggest either cheat engine and looking through the save file like the other person mentioned. I started a sandbox game as a "Playboy" and started myself off with 50 million, fun is different to different people.

You just need to do a new game and then custom start. You can then enter the amount of money that you want to start with.

Best way to cheat is to use the casino takes a long time though
1. go to Jensen capital get the 25k loan
2. sleep till 18:00 on friday
3. go to the casino boat save the game then buy a ticket
4. bet everything on blackjack (max 100,000)
5. if you win leave sleep till friday 18:00 repeat / if you lose main menu load save try again

In 0.1 you used to be able to save inside the casino boat and bet as much as you want so it was pretty easy to get as much money as desired, but unfortunately no longer.
