Warehouse deliveries not happening?

Hi!

I'm a huge fan of the game and I'm "only" 13 hours in it so far. I absolutely love the complexity and it's so much fun to play.

I am confused by Importing, I've set up one Logistics Manager, 2 Purchasing Managers (different import places), I've chosen the daily and three-day delivering schedule and confirmed that the items I need are not already in the warehouse stock and that I have the necessary budget.

When I go to it, my warehouse appears to be stocked (full of boxes), however, when I check the "inventory" in the warehouse, it shows only Soda cans.

The employees are not very skilled, but I don't think that should prevent ANY deliveries from happening.

Do I need a bigger warehouse or is this a bug?

Hello! Hmm. Are you sure it appeared full? I went into your bug report save, and your warehouse had 2 boxes in it. Where were you seeing it was full?

Ah, you are right, I mistook it for the import warehouse I was in, but even with that issue explained, I'm struggling to understand what's not configured properly.

I do understand the warehouse to store part, but not the import to warehouse part.

Just to confirm - did you press the "order" button on the purchasing agents? It looks like that might be the missing step in those screenshots!

when you're in the order screen on the right hand side of the screen you should see next to each item a drop down and you have to select the warehouse you are shipping to for each item you've purchased.

If you look at the screenshots, the dropdowns have been selected. The "Order" button has not been pressed though.

Thank you. That was it. I did not realize I had to manually press the order button. That got things started, so I did everything correctly, just missed the button. I'll play around for a day or two to ensure I got the process and report any further issues.

Make sure you don't just do a one-time order as well. Set it up so it comes in daily.

Okay, I can definitely confirm something isn't right. I have been reliably using the Wholesale deliveries for the shops and that works, but it's a pain to manage as I need multiple deliveries to multiple shops multiple times a week, so I have to manually switch days, which is a pain and hurts the businesses as there's no same day delivery.

I've set up contracts with Logistics Managers (3), different locations, auto deliver every day, there is plenty of space in the warehouse and in the shop. The warehouse stock is showing 0 (in this case Fresh Food), which is true, but I've also set it up to be delivered automatically when sub 250 and it's not.

Just to confirm - you said you have Logistics Managers, but do you have Purchasing Agents? The Purchasing Agent fill up the warehouse with goods that are imported in.

If you don't have anything filling up the warehouse, then the Logistics Managers don't have any inventory to ship to the stores.

Yes, I do, sorry, Logistics is 1!, Purchasing agent is 3, they all have a separate location contracted to them. Locations are set up, products should be OK, I checked the quantity and there's no product in the warehouse, despite the contract being in place and set to auto replenish stock daily. I've submitted the bug report, so you can check.

I've even set up a second warehouse for some of my businesses, put plenty of shelves in. Some businesses simply do not get deliveries (unless I set up wholesale once a week).

If you submit a bug report of the setup when it should be good, but fails, I will take a look!

Oh yes, I saw that bug report. The only two stores that didn't have inventory were not on the warehouse delivery list, though. So if the issue is those stores, then you need to add them to the Logistics Manager's list!
