Help with my nightclub
Hey.

I've got myself 4 businesses making me a nice profit of about $30,000 a day. I decided I'd like to just open a nightclub for fun.

I selected an absolutely huge space, but the space is soooo huge its going to take me ages to decorate it and make it look nice.

I tried making a big order from a store to get the dance floors, lights, bar etc but its barely scratched the surface of the space and Its a real chore to take a stack of like 50 items and use the hand-truck to take in 4 at a time, and then offload from truck, and place for every single item.

I did try going to an installer firm, but they said they didn't have any designs for a nightclub.

Anyone got any advice for speeding this up? I feel like I must be missing something to make this process a little less painful.

This will be improving a lot, probably in EA 0.6!

You can always use a community generated design for now, but the defaults should include all sizes in EA 0.6!

Yes I found a pretty good way. Keep 4 stock shelves in your vehicle at all times. The when you get a delivery, place the stock shelves near the door, the run the pallet jack into them. It's easier to take the box off the shelf and place it but it gets rid of all the boxes on the road so that more delivery can be made the next day.
I have another suggestion:

Inside your building, move the hand truck (dispenser) close to the door. Yes you can reposition it. Then grab one and run outside to grab your boxes. Go back into your building and park the hand truck. Since it has contents it will remain where your parked it. Then grab another free hand truck and go outside to grab more stuff. The end result is several hand trucks on the floor inside your business to which you can grab your items from at your leisure. All hand trucks will then disappear whenever they're empty by reloading the scene by going outside and re-enter the building.

I find that may be a better method than to carry around several storage shelves with you taking up cargo room in your vehicle.

Omg I just did this same thing for a nightclub. Still took me almost a week to setup. But I placed 4 storage shelves at the door and used an IKEA cart to haul it to the storage place. I setup the necessary stuff first, opened it up and continued to set it up. Did the deliveries at the 10am and 2pm so needed to hurry up and clear the space for the next delivery. I also setup a bed and a fridge in the stock room so I could rest and eat while setting up.
