EA 0.5 (experimental) night club equipment & security items

I played the new EA 0.5 for a bit and noticed that all of the night club equipment & security items are completely gone from the game in the stores. Was this intentional or an accident? I can't find them at any store, but they are in my shops from my previous save.

Also you can't place items in pause mode anymore which was really annoying. I hated seeing the timer keep ticking away when I was trying to make my new shop in Lower Manhattan.

i think the that stuff was moved to a new store in new district

I only saw one store there that is permanently closed at the moment. It's the shop for the factory.

there is another one called essentials appliances (with gas station) near the factory

Remember, you can always check the F1 help menu - and it should give you a direct link to the map for the items!

The stores have been rearranged, though, yes!

You can *only* place items in paused mode now, though.

Oh okay. I completely missed that one. I'm blind, lol. I only saw the factory store.

Yes, I noticed that! I like the rearrangement.
I did submit a bug report (a few) earlier where I couldn't click on both of the point of purchase counters (both left & right) because my character just kept running at it and never actually picking it up.

You grab the item and press "place" (or hit P) and the timer keeps going?

I went back and did what I did to see exactly what was happening.

I was managing my items like how I did in the live version. Place all items in storage and then click "manage storage," pause the game, and place items. However, in the experimental version, I can't do that because once I pause the game, it won't let me place the items at all if I pause the game myself after clicking "manage storage." So, I confused that with the timer not being paused.

If I place items normally, yes, the timer is paused. However, I like to do the "manage storage," hit pause, then place items because it completely paused the whole entire time. That is the part that isn't working because the place, pack, and discard button would be completely grayed out. The only button I can press while doing that is sell.

I can do this method in the live version, just not currently in 0.5.

Ah yes, that makes sense, and that part will be fixed in a patch!

For now, you can still use the hotkey "P" even though the button itself is disabled!!

You can also click the "?" icon at the top-right of the screen.

Your keyboard might have other functions bound to those keys. You could try holding the Fn key while pressing F1 to see if that helps!
