Health Insurance
Health insurance is a bit of a mess atm. If you hire 2 HR managers early on to enable them to cross-train each other you end up losing an HR manager because they can't get health coverage due to not having enough employees for both HR managers to hit 10. For a quick fix just remove the min requirement.

Needs in general need a big revision. If I hire someone who tells me they want xx amount per hour and no weekends they shouldn't all of a sudden demand an executive desk and a sofa after training for a couple of days. I do like that they want more the more skilled they become but it is a bit unrealistic atm. Maybe add a cool-down to new demands-say 15 days before they start whining. And start new demands as 'nice to have' and then progressively increase the importance the employee places on his/her wants.

For example lets say I hire Sue. Sue wants Full time/no Mornings. After settling in at her new job (the 15 day cooldown) she starts wanting health insurance. Bronze to start and 'nice to have'. After another few days (we'll say 5) she become more unhappy that she doesn't have insurance and starts looking for a new job (now it is 'important') Another few days (say 5 again) and she is fed up with waiting and threatens to quit if it isn't fixed asap. Sue gives you another couple of days and then she quits.

This example is much more realistic than some new-hire demanding company-wide changes before ever setting foot in the business. It also allows the play to plan ahead and start working towards these goals to keep employees happy. Also the bigger your company becomes the higher the demands from employees start.

In real life if I go work at a mom and pop shop I don't expect things like health insurance and 401k. If I go to work for a massive corporation I expect that and a reasonable PTO plan and paid training ect.

Overall I am impressed with the amount of work that went into this update and if all the updates are this large I think the game may well reach it's potential. Just a few things to balance and a few tweaks to the system and this patch will be a very good one. Keep going and I can't wait to see what tweaks you make to the systems

I agree with that and I'll add something : after a numerous number of employee, you have to delegate the managment of those employee, you cannot handle needs of more than 20/30 employee with so differents needs. So maybe add the possibility to recruit business managers maybe ? Or delegate things to manage to HR managers.
Also, I have an issue. In my game I have 4 HR managers. I set an Health Insurance on each of them, but I have no information in the employee allocation menu about what kind of health insurance they want. I have to go back to the employees list menu ...

I think that has been fixed but I could be wrong. I would love to have business managers for each store though-it could be one of the 'demands/goals' of the employee.

Yes - we rolled that back. It definitely had a very negative impact on large, existing saves.

Plus, we've taken all the feedback we've been seeing and will be reworking this system!

Thanks for everything you guys are doing. I am looking forward to the changes and appreciate that you take the time to both listen and respond to your fans.

yes I wonder if we could have an option to disable that part of the game at all? I don't mind as a small business going half way over town taking me all day to buy and deliver a mouse mat (which i wouldn't do in real life if i was the boss LOL) but I cant afford to buy everybody gold health cover when one person wants gold, another wants bronze and another wants silver and I have like 20 employees? Or maybe in the alternative, I could just pay something to tick the requirement box for that employee rather than hiring multiple HR managers early on?

Overall loving the game though :) Thanks so much for everything you are doing with this :)

I hadn't play since the first update, and I enjoy the game so far. good additions ! I still hate driving the brick that you say are cars, but ok, I enjoy the rest enough to overlook it.
What I don't understand regarding the Health Insurance, is why we have to get one for each HR managers, why couldn't it be a company wide thing ? I don't mind giving gold to all my workers, but having to get it through each RH seems a little too much. I didn't even understand why some people quit because I said, I'm okay I have gold, must be a bug.... nope, it was on the wrong manager.
Also why couldn't I get the gold insurance from the start, my manager was 70%, Might have needed 100%, but that is not the point. You could make it available from the start (which would help when early employees want it gold and you don't have the right manager) BUT make the less experienced managers negociate a lesser reduction of price. For exemple, a 100% HR could get 2$ cut per employee as a 10% HR would only get 0.15$ reduction per employee. It seems a bit more fair, instead of having to just take the HR manager back to "training" 7 times in a row, because all of the sudden a cleaner wants gold insurance...

Take care !
