plus having trained employees being 2x better than you is encouragement to get you thinking bigger.
That being said, i (in the current game, since i "bested the game") mostly enjoy playing as a self-employed trick of all trades running 2-3 shops like jewlery/gift/drink shops at once while manually handling cleaning/logistics etc.
My dream would be a single desk with a PC, Phone etc. from where i could micro all the HQ work by myself (obviously costing in-game time) and handling all warehouse work aswell.
Everything should be optional, but granting more busywork if the player chooses to won't hurt i think.
having a fast food stand across the room means that your employee will have to waste all that time to serve 1 customer
the training thing would definitely make a good trainable skill or custom game slider tho for sure
