Delivery Contracts - BizMan
When I select a business in BizMan, there is a section called Deliveries with a heading "Delivery Contracts". What is this for?

I have warehouses, logistics, purchasing agents, drivers, etc all set up to deliver Stock to my Retail Businesses but this seems to be something different.

I can't find anything about it when Searching or Online (other than from Feb 22).

You can setup a contract with local delivery from like NY distro INC where they deliver daily to your store. But it's inflated costs, I wouldn't recommend.

The only other delivery contract I'm aware of is the one you can make at the wholesaler in the lower right corner of the map (sorry i don't remember their name). You can set up a delivery with them which is only on Mondays from what I can tell and the most they deliver is 20 boxes.

Lol, what Sarsgamer said above. They beat me to it by mere seconds.

ohhh like instead of having my own warehouses and delivery drivers? Gotcha. I was thinking I could deliver my goods to customers similar to how I can order from Appliance, Furniture, "Ikea", etc.

Thanks for the quick replies!

If you've got a large operation that small 20 box contract likely won't make up for a warehouse and some vans or trucks. It's good for smallish stores that don't move much merchandise, but if you sell a lot of any product, a logistics set up with drivers is probably better.

I have noticed that you can order that wholesale contract multiple times for 1 store so maybe you can get enough goods delivered to stock a large store (but I haven't really tested it). It would be easier than the logistics route but I don't think the game was meant to be played that way so it may not work, lol.

if you do not use all the merchandise before delivery you'll probably clog the businesses shelf with one type of product after a period of time using wholesale contracts

i filled my storage with soda once because i sold it too slowly in my gift shop but it kept buying it alongside the gifts

Do you need storage shelves with space inside your business for the delivery contract I had set one up and it said it couldn't deliver.

yes you need the big shelves in your warehouse and the normal one in your shops.
the more items you want in your shop the more free shelves you need.
