Am I limited to what i can sell in supermarket?

Am I limited to what i can sell in supermarket to fresh food,frozen food and soda? Or can I sell other stuff like wine,salad ect? Cause even though the F1 doesn't state it, I am selling doughnuts at my Fast Food Restaurant. I dunno if i'll get money or not. it shows that it's selling

You can sell everything, but the main product is the reason they visit the shop. So you will sell more food and less diamonds in a food shop and more diamonds and less food in a diamond shop.

I had a cheap jewelry display in my initial gift shop and nobody ever bought any. Still not sure why. I ended up starting a jewelry store and moved it there.

Well, it's one thing to go on a shopping tour to buy some jewels and then also take some bread with you. But to want to buy bread and come back with jewels at the end is something quite different.
