Do i need more than one purchasing agent?
I have a purchasing agent but there is only about 5 or 6 products i am able to import with them. I checked other import businesses but they say they will only deal with purchasing agent. Do i need one for every import business?

different importers import different goods

4 is fine for up to 16 businesses, assuming you have a 2 slot warehouse
you can also technically chain warehouses together but that's too much work and number config imo, easier to just hire more when you need em

You could technically "end import partnership" and assign to a different importer, but don't think anyone would really want to do that so yes multiple purchasers.

I know some do that, but I've never gone that route. I'm considering it for paper bags though. I think it's the only way to, realistically, do the achievement where your warehouse has to have x million (or whatever the amount is) of product in stock.

i don't think so, each pallet is 60 boxes and 60 boxes of paper bags = 60000
realistically you only need 18-19 pallets, i think you can fit upwards of like 70 or something in one warehouse (or a lot more, i saw one that was extremely packed on the games discord, cars hoisted into the air and everything, was great

In my main save, where I rent all 14 warehouses, I deliver 60k paper bags each time to each warehouse using 3 purchasers. My save is before warehouses could deliver up to 16 stores, so now I'd do 120k per warehouse. I'm not even sure when that changed, logistics manager skill used to not mean anything. Using one purchaser and one warehouse to supply all my other warehouses with paper bags is making a lot of sense to me now. And since Jet Cargo is slightly cheaper than the other importers could do the same for other products, but I probably wouldn't go that route.

yeah i think you save a good portion of money by cutting out more purchasing agents

i just don't want to have to deal with the configuration of numbers, once i have 16 businesses i am basically 'done' with all of them and can leave them to their own devices and never touch the warehouse again
