Why are my employees not restocking?

I have a 10ksq foot grocery store with literal thousands of items in the stock room, about 30 shelves in there most of them full of items. More than enough to keep the shelves stocked. But my staff just aren't restocking it, why? I have at least 6 staff at any given time here but they aren't restocking items.

Employees restock the shelves at the end of a shift. If you're running a 24 hour shift, then that's the problem. Simply add a shift to the schedule and have 2 12-hour shifts(as an example) and your employees will stock the shelves twice a day.

they only stock when they hit 0
sometimes when you are inside it bugs out and only restocks once you exit and re-enter

they do not restock at the end of the shift

And nope ROCKnROLLA doesn't make things up.
I tried it and reported it as a bug.
I had a fast food opening at 6am closing at midnight. Shelves were not restocked when shift ended.
I then opened from 6 am to 11pm, and then shelves were restocked.

Now indeed you can 100% let it run and they will autofill when hitting 0. So that is ALSO true.

But if you were doing the cleaning in a fast-food closing at midnight, then you would see all the shelves with orange / red alerts. And same fast-food with all shelves full if you closed at 11pm.

No, I wasn't making things up, but I stand corrected as I misspoke about the 24 hour deal. I don't believe that the employees do the restocking. BonPadre is right that if you have a 24 hour store, the shelves will not get restocked. Closing at 11pm seems to work better since it appears that your logistics driver restocks the shelves only if the business is closed before midnight. I have found, since my previous comment, that running a 23 hour shop is not a good idea, either, especially if your running out of stock. So experiment with the number of hours for each of your shops to find that happy medium and if you have enough stock after 23 hours, then by all means let it happen and it should work just fine.

This bug *should* be fixed with the new patch!

One more thing - I'm pretty sure that before you get a logistics manager and driver, the employees DO stock the shelves at the end of their shift.

They also seem to if your business is 24/7 but you don't have anyone assigned for the last hour. So there just seems to be a bit of funkyness going atm. I've been trying to get this 24/7 business to run smoothly but stuff keeps getting borked with the supply and restocking

The System should be changed. I only need symbols, when the shelf is complete empty. But then you get a Message... So...
