how to know which product price you can increase
I'm selling mutliple products in my store and the price rating is 100%. Therefor I would like to increase prices. But how to now which product price can be increased and which product might be over priced?

that's called the cheat sheet on the discord, feel free to use it, it saves a lot of time

however, if you DO NOT want to? it's just a matter of trying things out
raise price, pass day, see index went down, adjust price

a bit tedious but >>

Yeah I consider it the same as looking at the market price option in game just an increased version lolz somebody made that sheet we can consider him part of HQ marketing branch who did his research lmao

i am on the fence personally

for me it feels like cheating, but at the same time it's only replacing the extremely tedious sleep adjust loop so i want to use it

honestly i wish it changed per save or something as opposed to just flat maximums for everyone

I agree also it should be more dynamic than flat maximums but I’m assuming that would take a lot more coding

That is just advised retail price, to push the limit you still need to trail and error...

Add 10%, for most sales it will sell just fine. If not, customers will mention something like "I won't pay that much for a burger''. Go further if you have to, watch response or charts on the next day.

I might not even do it, except on some items, without the cheat sheet. It's way to tedious to figure out all for all districts.

You realize the import prices aren't accurate? The price you pay goes down as your purchasers' skills go up.

Yea the google doc is not doing you any favors.. I am selling all the stuff at my fast food restaurant well above the suggested numbers.. looks like you might just have to try.. also if you fiddle with the prices and then wait int he store you can watch the customers reactions "I'm not paying that much for a hot dog" etc..

works fine for me at 100% all indexes
albeit i have been able to pay, say, a dollar above sometimes

possible you aren't using the right columns? there are 4 different prices, one for each district

I'm assuming I'm reading it right. It says advised selling price 3.2 for a hot dog in Garment district.. I'm currently charging 3.7 with no negative issues. Burgers it suggest 4.3 and I'm charging 4.9 and my pricing rating in insight is still 100%.

hmm
i am not sure

my pricing index drops to 90% when i set my hotdogs to what you have from 3.2

maybe it's calculated to be like the near-optimum settings to balance sale volume and price?
maybe having all the primary items the store type sells at the prices on the spreadsheet makes it so you can't have 1 item extremely expensive

how many burgers do you sell per week?

i sell 3845 hotdogs and 2841 burgers at spreadsheet price in a 30 capacity burger joint with near max indexes

Couple of notes. The ratings in insight won't change if no one attempts to buy anything and it's based on an average, some will pay inflated costs and others wont and if more are willing then probably won't affect your pricing %. I'm sure you're selling product but possible you're not selling as much which may negate your increased costs.

Other way you can check is to be in your store watching and see customer comments like "I'm not paying that much for that".
