Contract with Store Managers?
What does it do? I get my products with the importers directly to my warehouse, and then deliver them with truck drivers.

What does the contract with the wholesalers do? I never tried it because it said it would cost a 1000 for delivery, and by the time I had money I was using warehouses.

The wholesaler delivery is mostly meant for early game, before you have a HQ and warehouses. Later on it's easier to do import.
Many other stores like furniture store or appliance store offer the delivery option as well if you sit down with the manager. That's especially helpful for furnishing new shops, so you don't have to drive around and transport everything by yourself.

Is it literally like "Deliver these products directly to my store for 1000"? Instead of buying it, loading into my car, and delivering it myself?

It's 'deliver x amount of items on x schedule with a 1000$ fee' up to 20 boxes of items

any store that sells goods/services except i think grocery can be sat down with at an hr desk to add them to your phone book and can be then called/used remotely, that includes hiring and etc (there is a small delivery fee but it's irrelevant, they just dump like up to 18 items in front of your store at x time and you have to take it inside with a hand cart or something)
