Warehouse issues

Greetings, I've been having a lot of fun with the game so far, but I seem to be missing something when it comes to the usage of warehouses.

My idea is that I want to use a driver to deliver stock from the warehouse to each of my three stores (I sell both cheap and expensive flowers), which I believe is their main use. I've employed a driver as well as a logistics manager in my HQ, I've bought shelves for the warehouse and filled them with some stock, then setup a delivery plan for one of my stores. I also have a truck parked inside the warehouse and correctly assigned.

Here's the problem: according to the delivery plan in the logistics manager page, I have no stock in my warehouse, hence it is refusing to deliver anything, but when I open the Warehouse itself through the Bizman, it correctly reports the stock that's present inside. I currently don't yet have a purchasing agent, all the stock has been delivered manually just to test it all out.

What could I've possibly done wrong here? Does the lack of a purchasing agent block all deliveries by default? Or do the shelves inside the warehouse have to be in a specific place? Any advice is appreciated. Cheers.

I think you need purchasing agent? Because only purchase agent buys from import/export companies (not wholesaler)

Going to take a guess maybe you have storage shelves instead of pallet shelves in the warehouse. Think game is looking for data from pallet and not storage within those buildings

I just tested this and everything works fine using pallet shelves so it could be this
