But in general the business types are mostly fluff? Think i've read that stores tend to sell more of their 'type' of items.. but they can all sell everything you can fit the stuff in for.
*edit - was just reading a different thread - business type might also have an effect based off how many others of the same type there are in the district. - i get if one may not want to open a gift shop if there are like 6 others, unless demand is still very high. didn't think # of that type would to much once founded.. but guess it does make sense.
Especially Gift Shops are hilarious as you can add flowers to the same kind of shelf ... cheap gift, expensive gift, cheap flowers, expensive flowers and pretty much every customer will buy 3 out of 4 products offered.
