Yep, done that! Actually just finished with getting the HR manager.
If he says, "build french fries", than just build one? There's no time limit on anything he asks you to do. And, none of it is required to progress in the game.
I never even built the stupid restaurant until after I had full logistics automation, HR, and a 1000m2 retail store making 150k a day.
Then I had enough money to build one with every product available. :D
It still needs 1 more cigar and wine - but im bringing in 25k+ a day now and just getting close to day 40.
Ive found a nice size building but only 10/10 so going to make it my office and get my logistics and warehouse set up.
Then i may do the fast food place.. as itll be way easier to keep up with the huge ammount of goods they sell.
or im kind of wanting to get a 3rd, even 4th gift shop. In the other 2 districts 1st. Just to have a good solid base. (Plus as ill already be selling the same things - itll be just a matter of upping my import orders.
Fast foods a pain - have to sell tons of extra items and still make hardly any true profit.
1st game - took ages and a LOT of extra equ set up to finally get the fast food making more then my 1st gift shop.
Id opened a new gift shop down town and w/ in a week or so w/ less trained staff - it was making more then the fast food place id spent weeks building out.
