Dang, well I hope it does as well. Is there any downside to closing and opening the same business type?
Closing has zero effect apart from paying the rent
Terminating the agreement will sell off whatever is in the store - at a loss.
The workers are then available to reuse.
For Office Space - I tend to just leave the stuff and "close" the office - the rent is trivial and if I open another office - I will need most of the furniture anyway so I simply move another business in.
For Retail - I tend to just Terminate the contact and forget about it.
I've tried parking a huge truck outside a closing business and moving the stuff into it - but tbh - its only a little more to start afresh and the time spent with a hand truck (loading and then unloading) is better spent elsewhere.
I've also a warehouse where I store ex-shop equipment - but then I find it is easier to kit out a shop new than recycle it.
+1 for some sort of removal service.
