Night club profit related to opening hours?

Hi! I was wondering if stores/business opening hours are related to their profits. like does my nightclub have more customers during certain hours? And what about fast-food restaurants or hair stylists?

Would there be any disadvantage to having them open 24/7?

Yes! Opening hours are of the utmost importance connected to your business type! As it's a nightclub it will do better at night / early morning. ;)

The best opening hours, will fluctuate depending your business type. You can always check the customer Graph in BizMan to see how much customers you get during what time of the day you are open.

24/7 will not be the profitable way though ...

Absolutely! Hours definitely matter! Some stores can be profitable 24x7, but others aren't profitable enough in the off hours to do that!

Yes there is a relation between opening hours and the type of business you have. You can actually see it yourself in game by going into Bizman and the Insights tab. In the bottom right corner there is a graph on the number of customers coming to your store (default the past week by day is shown). But in the graph you also have a button to go to 'Yesterday'. Then you can see for each hour how many customers you have.


For quite some stores you could actually open 24/7 as even with only 4 customers an hour you could make a small profit. But there are certainly some business that would benefit from being closed as your employees wage an hour is higher than the profit you could generate.
Additionally for bigger stores by watching the number of customers an hour, you could decide when to open multiple cash registers (peak hours) or just only one (during slow hours)

There it is indicated that between 8am and 8pm it might not be worthwhile to have the club open.

It would be nice in the future when you can see more then yesterday, the whole week or even the month. additional marketing infos like market research for best pricing and surveys what the customes want like the next trend item. A better demand statistic, which district has the best potential for 24/7 stores and where you only need the usual business hours. the game takes place in nyc. i would think there is more demand for a 24/7 stores because its a 8 millions inhabitans city.
